Quote Of Today: The Lion And Big Cat Encounter Industry Does Nothing To Conserve Wild Lions ( Like Kevin Richardson Lion Sanctuary Or Travels With Volontärresor AB)

“The bottom line is, the lion encounter industry does nothing to conserve wild lions. The same tourists who spend hundreds of dollars walking with tame lions behind fences (and $90 for the DVD!) could instead visit Africa’s outstanding national parks and game reserves where the entry price and lodge fees help cover the costs of protecting those areas. For my money, I’d stick with the real thing: no matter what the glossy brochures and gushy advertising claim, it won’t ever involve tame lions.”—Dr Luke Hunter; President of Panthera, the Worlds biggest wild cat NGO

I know it’s just a silly blog and I don’t expect that people read what I say! Nobody take any serious position on what is written in the blogosphere! No really important person ever write blogs!

  10. inavukic says:

Oh I don’t agree there Anne, I think many blogs are there to tell us much of worth and importance, to alert and educate. The man in the photo kissing probably did have true emotions only those are misguided and so is he 😀 Blogs are often there to write about what easily can’t be found in the controlled mainstream media, that’s probably why there are so many – the world is a messy place indeed and blogs are slowly taking their rightful place of importance especially as the world gets to realise that many journalists are “bent” too
