Great White Egrets Nests In UK For The First Time

BBC News2012-05-22:                      Great white egrets are nesting in the UK for the first time at Natural England‘s Shapwick Heath National Nature Reserve in Somerset. Staff and volunteers have been protecting the rare visitors with 24-hour surveillance of their nest. It could mean that the UK’s first great white egret colony is established.
